Volunteer

Applications are now closed.

Volunteers are needed to serve on the 2024 Annual Meeting Credentials and Election Committee.

Per CVT bylaws, “The Committee shall consist of an uneven number of Cooperative members not less than five (5) nor more than seven (7) who are not existing Cooperative employees, agents, officers, Directors or known candidates for Director, and who are not close relatives as defined in Section 4.3[a] of the bylaws.”

The Credentials and Election Committee is responsible for validating signatures on returned ballots and for tallying ballots received for Annual Meeting purposes (Director election and, if applicable, bylaw amendments). Ballots will be received, validated, and counted in the Valdez office. Volunteers, who travel outside of their district, will be reimbursed for eligible mileage expenses.

The 2024 Scholarship Committee is also looking for four volunteers from Valdez and Glennallen. This committee is responsible for assessing scholarship applications and assigning the distribution of available funds.

Committee volunteers must be CVTC members in good standing without conflict of interest. If you want to volunteer for either committee, please visit cvtc.org/volunteer to sign up today!

Applications must be submitted by March 15th.
