In the Glennallen District, 1,078 ballot packages were mailed to active members. The Credentials and Election Committee received 265 return envelopes. Of those received, 259 were validated, which means the signatures on the envelopes matched the signatures on file at CVTC. With 234 votes, Karen Linnell was re-elected to serve a three-year term.
In the Valdez District, 1,305 ballot packages were mailed to active members. The Credentials and Election Committee received 230 return envelopes. Of those received, 215 were validated, which means the signatures on the envelopes matched the signatures on file at CVTC. With 113 votes, Karen Feero was elected to serve a three-year term.
Bylaw ballots are tallied as a whole and include the votes of both the Valdez and Glennallen districts. With 174 votes for and 280 votes against, the proposed bylaw amendment to extend term limits has failed.
Per CVTC bylaws, any protest or objection regarding any election must be filed by May 6, 2026.
