New CEO Appointment

At Tuesday nights’ Special Meeting, the CVTC Board of Directors unanimously voted to offer COO/Interim CEO Bruce Holdridge an employment contract to become Copper Valley Telephone Cooperatives’ next CEO. Please join us in congratulating Mr. Holdridge, who has accepted the position.

CVT Board President, Trish Stowe, extended congratulations on behalf of the Board and asked that the following message be shared:

“The CVT Board of Directors would ask your continued support of Mr. Holdridge, along with all the staff members, as we work together to advance Copper Valley Telecom and its affiliate companies over the next three years. I would especially ask this as we work to achieve and exceed the goals committed to the FCC’s Alaska Plan, additional growth on the wireless network, and the collective development of a company-wide strategic plan. The CVT Board of Directors are truly proud of everyone. We especially note the accomplishments of achieving 2020 Alaska Plan growth, the significant achievement of advancing wireless services to VoLTE, FTTH in Tatitlek, voicemail upgrades, and plans for additional network expansion in 2021. Thank you, everyone, and please keep up your good work! Congratulations, Bruce! “
