Copper Valley Telecom offers scholarships for students to attend the Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. Students will learn about the challenges of providing quality broadband in rural communities, meet with Congressional and FCC staff members, and visit historical sites. This year’s youth tour is June 3-7, 2024. Their guardians must be current members of Copper Vally Telecom, and students must be 15, 16, or 17 at the time of travel. Applicants have until the close of business on March 8th, 2024, to submit their applications.
To complete your FRS Youth Tour application, kindly provide a 2-5 minute video introducing yourself. Feel free to express yourself creatively! After submitting the written part of your application, a Dropbox link will appear for you to submit the video segment.
