Share the Warmth This Season
From November 25 through December 12, we’re inviting our communities to join us in making winter a little warmer for those who need it most. CVT is hosting a community coat drive, and we’re collecting gently used coats of all sizes. Every coat donated goes right back into supporting families and individuals throughout our region. Donations will be split between the Copper River Basin Child Advocacy Center in Glennallen and Connecting Ties in Valdez for distribution, helping ensure coats reach those who need them most. When you drop off a coat, you’re helping a neighbor stay warm this winter and strengthening the connections that make our communities special.
How to Participate
It’s simple to take part. Just bring your coats to your local CVT office during regular business hours. We ask that donations be gently used, clean, and free of rips or tears so they’re ready for someone to wear right away. And before you drop them off, don’t forget to check your pockets.
Whether it’s a children’s jacket or an adult’s winter parka, your donation will make a meaningful impact. Help us share the warmth this season and keep our communities bundled up for the colder months ahead.
