UPDATE 10:25 PM: We are currently experiencing an internet outage due to an issue with our partner provider, which is originating out of state.
We are working closely with our partner provider to restore service as quickly as possible. Alaska Communications has confirmed a statewide issue. Updates from them can be found via X.
Over 80% of CVT internet customers have converted to our upgraded dual-headend broadband system and are benefiting from its redundant internet transport.
Customers who have not yet converted may still be experiencing an outage. We encourage customers who haven’t yet made the switch to contact us this week to find out if they are eligible for a broadband conversion and schedule their appointment to take advantage of the improved reliability.
We’re aware that some wireless and internet customers may be experiencing intermittent issues. Our team is actively investigating and working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
