Telephone Plant Superintendent

Copper Valley Telephone seeks a full-time Plant Superintendent to manage and oversee day to day operations, installation and maintenance of the outside plant, service order and repair operations. A solid background in telephony operations with focus on OSP and customer care is required. Working knowledge of RUS specifications, NEC and NESC codes is required. This is a first line management level position which requires the individual to be a team player, role model for his/her work group, regularly exercise discretion, independent judgment and creativity in the performance of his/her duties, with particular emphasis on maintaining the highest level of service quality and reliability. The right person will be a “Can Do, Get It Done” individual. This is an exempt, salaried position, based in Valdez Alaska.
